5 Reasons to Support A Steppingstone Scholar

1. The need is profound.  Steppingstone Scholars prepares students for the opportunity to go to college.  For many, to attend college is the American Dream but the path is not accessible.  Steppingstone provides students with the tools to access that path.

2. Return on your investment.  In 2009, the Philadelphia School District saw a dropout rate of 44% and a graduation rate that ranked among the worst in the country, nearly half of students.  At Steppingstone, 100% of the Scholars who have completed our Program have graduated high school and matriculated to college.

3. Provide necessary tools for academic success.  Scholars receive academic preparation over a 14-month period, including two summer sessions and one year of Saturday instruction.  During the 14-month component of the Scholars Program, your contribution of $5,800 will supply Scholars with books, backpacks, supplies, breakfast, transportation, and instruction from the best teachers in the region.
